Services At PAWSitive Rehab we see patients on a veterinary referral basis only. This allows us to communicate with your veterinarian and develop the best rehab program for each individual patient. Since we are located inside the Pacific Beach Vet Clinic we have a veterinarian on site at all times in case of an emergency, but do not provide general medicine while your pet is currently in physical rehab. We have the most up to date physical rehabilitation equipment, including the newest model of the underwater treadmill. We will work slowly with those dogs that may have a fear of the water so they can learn to exercise while receiving all of the benefits of the water. All of our rehab visits may include massage therapy, stretching, strength and balance exercises, core strength exercises, e-stim, laser therapy, and hydrotherapy. Every service we provide is performed by a trained technician, certified in canine rehab. We are happy to establish a working relationship with your pet’s surgeon and general practitioner anywhere in San Diego County. Because our staff is highly trained we can provide you with a home exercise program for your pet, give advice on home environment changes, as well as give you support while your pet is recovering.
